The Concept

OTOMO is derived from Japanese, meaning «companion».
In a world characterized by fleeting trends and mass production, OTOMO consciously chooses a different path.

For us, it's not about volume, but exclusivity that takes center stage.
We resist the pull of constant new releases, opting instead to take the necessary time for the creative and development process, allowing an idea to evolve into a masterpiece.

From the initial draft to the final product, it typically spans three to six months. We use this time to perfect every detail, from prototyping to final production. Our designs are intentionally limited to ensure the uniqueness of each creation. While we leverage cutting-edge 3D technology, the final touches are always applied by hand.

Limitation

Our designs are rare.

The Mareé series is limited to 100 pieces.

For example, the solitaire ring with the pink diamond will only be made once. All diamonds come with a certificate of authenticity and all jewelry with a serial number. We only use diamonds and no other precious stones.

Display Case

As an owner of an OTOMO piece of jewelry, you receive not just a unique work of art but also our specially designed OTOMO display case. Crafted from acrylic glass and tailor-made for us in Switzerland, it signifies that our creations should literally be in the spotlight, not hidden away. Each piece is a testament to quality and uniqueness.

Sustainability

At OTOMO, we place the utmost importance on sustainability and ethical practices. All our designs are exclusively crafted from certified recycled gold sourced from SAR RECYCLING SA, a Swiss company and certified member of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC). This ensures that no gold from unknown and potentially problematic mining areas makes its way into our products.

Our gemstones come from Blue Peacock Diamonds. Based in Zurich, the company is certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council. It is of paramount concern to us that each of these stones not only carries a quality certificate but also an origin certificate. Thanks to our longstanding collaboration with this supplier, we can rely on their high expertise, guaranteeing both the quality and safety of the stones.
